Pilot

Our pilots have the best office in the world; Kodiak Island and the surrounding areas offer beauty, adventure, diversity, and many unique challenges. Our typical flights include taking clients to and from lodges, sightseeing and bear viewing tours, hunting and fishing transportation, freight runs to various remote locations, and generally serving as an air taxi service. Andrew Airways is dedicated to hiring the highest caliber pilots. Our company also has great opportunities for pilots to continue their education and grow as bush pilots.   • Second Class Medical

  • 2500 Total time

  • 500 Alaska

  • 500 Floats

  • Note: Some requirements can be waved on a case by case basis.

Mechanics

Andrew Airways maintains all seven part 135 aircraft in house. Additionally we have several part 91 customers we provide exceptional maintenance for. If you’re looking to work within a shop with top notch mechanics and excellent resources, this just may be the place for you. Ground Service Crew

Andrew Airways has numerous positions available for upcoming and inspiring pilots, or young adults looking for a summer job that doubles as an adventure. Duties include driving shuttle vans, picking up freight, loading aircraft, assisting in seaplane docking, fueling aircraft, and general customer service. All this takes place in a picturesque venue with other passionate and friendly people. Ground crew will occasionally get the opportunity to participle in the different adventures we offer.   • Clean driving record

  • Courteous and clean-cut

  • Customer service oriented

Office Crew

Our office staff members work as dispatchers and customer service agents by working directly with the customers and ground crew, scheduling flights, keeping track of the aircraft, answering phones and emails, and making sure everything happens as it should when it should. It is a lively environment that provides the opportunity to meet many new people and learn a variety of skills, all in an office overlooking the beautiful Trident Basin and the many aircraft that call her home. Office staff will occasionally get the opportunity to participate in the different adventures we offer.
